Hello! My name is Heather Homan. I am a North Carolina Certified Peer Support Specialist. I am currently certified to facilitate Circle of Security parenting groups, as well as Prime for Life recovery groups and Wellness Action Recovery Plan (W.R.A.P) groups. I am also in process of getting my Certified Alcohol and Drug Counseling License. I am passionate about the entire world of recovery, not only from substances and alcohol, but also with mental health. I love working with people in all walks of life and my target audience is not specific to any group. I have had individuals in my classes that anticipate fostering children, anticipate having their own children, are new parents, are experienced parents, are grandparents, and even individuals that just wanted to understand their relationship with their own parents a little better. I currently work with Blue Ridge Health in WNC and plan on facilitating class through this company.
