Melissa Cleary

I am an In-Home Educator for an Early Head Start Program located in Alexander County, North Carolina. I go into the homes of the families on my caseload once a week and work with them and their children on developmental and family goals. We have various events and activities that encourage the involvement of not only the family as a whole but the positive male in the child's life as well. I have begun facilitating parenting classes within our program for those who are interested, as well as for our community using the COSP program. I currently hold an AAS Degree in Early Childhood Education and am working towards obtaining my Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies through UNCG. I will graduate in May of 2025.
